Treats? An ammonite? A fox? What would you personalise your kitchen drawers with?

This owner requested a simple line drawing of a fox and several designs were discussed and debated until this drawing was chosen.

Our work is guided by the simple belief that your kitchen should be a perfect balance of beauty, functionality, and individuality.

The final finishing touch for this kitchen was the addition of the custom made baskets for the curved shelves 👏

From finger skateboards to custom wardrobes! Harley helped install these wardrobes this week - it’s the first larger project that he has built pretty well on his own in the workshop! 👏

However, he has always been interested in working with wood and prior to joining us as an apprentice, he used to make tech decks. Tech Decks are miniature, toy skateboards or finger boards and Harley’s would be crafted in veneer and the demand for them came from all over the world!

This was the first of two successful projects in a rural barn conversion in Dalwood.

Pictured here is the set of wardrobes and drawers in the master bedroom that were created to meet the customer’s needs.

The second project was a coat cupboard with boot and shoe shelving plus additional cupboards in the boot room and home office.

On both occasions, the owners felt that Marc came up with very considered design options taking into account the quirks of their home. Moreover, he and Peter carried out the works flawlessly, to the delight of the owners and they unprompted says they would certainly use the team again.

Handles or no handles?

This one seemingly small decision can transform a kitchen from no handle sleek to shaker chic and brass cup handle traditional.

One of our kitchens in a Victorian home featured round k***s, cup handles, long pulls and even leather handles (on drawers that are infrequently used) to bring character and the feeling that the kitchen had developed over many years.

Lyme Regis is world-famous for its spectacular ammonite fossils, so this piece was created to show how Marc could incorporate these beautiful shapes into the work surface for a kitchen overlooking Lyme Regis harbour.

Extra magic was added to the final installation with the addition of locally found fossils and pebbles … shown in the comments below and our story!
