End of the month already… April flew by and we’re straight into May. Still snow on the hills though! 🎉

Quick update — we’ll be closed on the 4th for the bank holiday.

I’ll be organising the month ahead shortly for everyone waiting on confirmed dates, so I’ll be in touch soon including and as mentioned previously, we’re still seeing a lot of issues with smart meter installs, and I know a few of you have reached out about this.

We’ve also come across around 10 boiler pump failures recently — coincidence? I’ll let you decide.

Aside from that, it’s business as usual: EICRs, saunas, hot tubs, rewires, external lighting, fault finding… and my personal favourite — more automation.

Josh is now out in the second Ohmega van (not sign-written just yet!), and it’s already making a big difference.

Small notice for folks,

Well into double digits with the amount of issues regarding recently installed smart meters where clients are now being charged incorrectly or tariffs have been set up wrong.

If you have had work done recently and are noticing a change in costings, might be worth calling us in to have a look over it.

End of Feb post in the middle of March.

February was another busy one. Passed the 1000 jobs mark in ~2.5yrs, this consists of anything that takes an hour, to jobs that roll on for months.

We'll have another van on the road this coming week which should let us significantly reduce wait times for jobs that come in, I'll have to wait a wee while to get it sign written however.

As you can imagine February was filled with a lot of heating issues, there were sound system installations, commercial smoker issues, finishing an outbuilding, rewires, new builds and quoting, quoting, quoting.

A few other exciting things are coming up but I'll wait until confirmation comes through.

January blues didn't have a chance to settle,

Extension in Invermoriston continued, Rewire finished in Aviemore, Commercial unit wired and fitted for a business, local property extension started, kitchen fit out started for another business, oven elements changed, certification for rentals and holiday homes and the good old beloved fault finding.

2026 starting off how 2025 ended.

October is over and rapidly heading towards the end of the year.

Josh has taken to it like a duck to water and long may it continue.

A lot of EICR's and Remedial work this month with call outs starting to become more frequent with folk having issues with heating and power.

New build, extensions and a couple bathrooms are getting done this next month.

With 2 of us now at Ohmega we can chew through work quicker than previous, faster response time when needed! Get in touch if you're after any electrical work and I'm sure we can squeeze you in.

For once I'm early with this post!
September almost finished moving into the end of the year scarily - but, hopefully closer to snow!

100+ jobs started and finished this month ✅ with a couple bigger jobs being delayed opening up a few slots 🕟 (that's why I always say to folk to get in touch even though I'm in theory full, things can always change) but I imagine it will be a fun run up to chr-----s 🙄

September seen the first full month of the expanded workforce 💪 Josh has started very well and hopefully continues on trend letting us get through some jobs quicker than planned. 🏃

This month we didn't wander too far from home, usual areas covering Laggan - Inverness.

We can now include works of commercial fire alarm panels, scalable security systems, commercial extraction ductwork cleans (through 3rd parties)
