BUSINESS ADMIN APPRENTICE – ATTLEBOROUGH
September 2026 Start | Full Time | Level 3 Apprenticeship
We're looking for a bright, organised and confident person to join the office team at Electric11 Ltd in Attleborough as a Business Administration Apprentice.
This would be ideal for someone finishing school or college this summer who wants to start their career in business and customer service while gaining a recognised Level 3 qualification.
Electric11 is a busy and growing electrical, solar and renewable energy company working across Norfolk.
A big part of our success comes from having a strong, well-organised admin team. We believe the way we communicate with customers and organise our work is one of the things that sets us apart from other companies, and this is regularly reflected in the positive reviews and feedback our office team receives.
Because of that, excellent customer service is a really important part of this role.
You'll be joining an established office team and learning how a busy business operates day-to-day. This isn't an apprenticeship where you'll spend 18 months making tea and filing paperwork – you'll gradually be given real responsibility and get involved with:
Speaking with customers by phone and email
Providing friendly, professional customer service
Booking and organising jobs
Using our job management and business software
Preparing and processing paperwork
Helping with invoicing and accounts administration
Organising engineers and their workloads
Maintaining customer and job records
Working with spreadsheets and other IT systems
Helping improve the way we run and organise the business
General day-to-day office administration
You'll work alongside experienced members of our office team who will train and support you as you develop.
Alongside your job, you'll complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with City College Norwich, starting in September.
Who we're looking for
Experience isn't important – attitude and personality are.
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys helping people and providing great customer service
Is friendly, confident and comfortable speaking to customers
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is reliable and organised
Is comfortable using computers
Is keen to learn
Can use their initiative
Pays attention to detail
Works well as part of a small team
Wants to develop and take on more responsibility
There's plenty of opportunity to progress as you develop, and we'd ideally like the successful person to build a long-term career with Electric11 after completing their apprenticeship.
