🌿 BEFORE & AFTER – APRIL TO SEPTEMBER 🌿

A lovely planting project that has developed beautifully throughout the year.

The raised oak flower beds have been transformed with:

🌱 Perennials
🌿 Herbs
🌷 Spring bulbs
🌾 Ornamental grasses
🌳 Evergreen plants

My work throughout the year has included garden design, planting, watering, deadheading, feeding and regular maintenance.

I’ve really enjoyed working closely with the customer, taking their ideas on board and taking pride in keeping the beds looking their best.

It’s been fantastic to see how much the customer has enjoyed the garden throughout the summer and how pleased they’ve been with the results. 🌸

A great transformation from April through to September, and I’m looking forward to seeing it develop even further. 🌿

🍂🌿 AUTUMN IS HERE – IS YOUR GARDEN READY? 🌿🍂

As we head into autumn, there are a few important jobs that are worth getting on top of before winter arrives.

🍁 Clear fallen leaves from lawns, paths, patios and flowerbeds
🌿 Cut back and tidy overgrown plants
✂️ Prune and shape shrubs and hedges where appropriate
🌷 Plant spring bulbs such as daffodils, tulips and crocuses
🌱 W**d flowerbeds, borders and paths
🌾 Give your lawn some autumn care
🍂 Clear leaves and debris from ponds and drainage areas
🌳 Divide and replant established perennials where needed
🏡 General garden tidy-up before the colder weather arrives

Over the next couple of months, it’s also worth keeping an eye on fences, gates, sheds and other outdoor areas for any repairs needed before winter weather sets in.

If you don’t have the time or simply need a helping hand getting your garden ready for winter, J.A.C Gardens can help.

🌿 One-off autumn tidy-ups
🌿 Regular garden maintenance
🌿 Hedge trimming and pruning

🌿 Garden Tidy-Up 🌿

This lovely nature garden, complete with a small pond, had become very overgrown. 🌱

I cut back a variety of overgrown plants and shrubs, removed dead growth and carried out plenty of deadheading to bring the garden back under control.

The paths were also cleared and tidied to make them safer and easier to walk through.

🐟 The pond was cleaned, including the filter, leaving the water looking fresher and the fish much happier!

Another garden brought back to life and ready to enjoy. 🌿😊
