Our latest concept for a garden in Wilmslow explores how an underused space can become a beautiful outdoor retreat. From the initial mood boards and architectural inspiration through to detailed pavilion concepts, planting strategies and construction details, every element has been carefully considered before a single spade goes into the ground.

This isn't about choosing a pergola from a catalogue.

It's about designing a space that feels as though it was always meant to be there — balancing architecture, materials, planting, lighting and the way you'll actually use your garden.

Whether it's morning coffee, family gatherings or evenings around the fire, thoughtful design creates spaces you'll enjoy for years to come.

This sloped garden is currently being transformed with bespoke gabion retaining walls, integrated stone steps and layered terraces designed to completely reshape the space.

The combination of natural stone, steel detailing and warm timber tones is already starting to bring real structure and character to the garden, while creating practical, usable levels throughout.

Great day planting with Paul and the team at Olive Tree Landscaping Services 15+ trees planted, including a beautiful Sequoia, alongside layers of shrubs, perennials, and biodiverse wildflower planting.
This wasn’t an LND-designed garden, but I couldn’t resist sharing it. It’s great to see a local team taking so much pride in creating a garden properly focused on the soft landscaping and the long-term feel of the space.
