BODEN Property Maintenance

Thought I'd share a small pointing job we did this week in Hyde.

Our customer had recently bought the house and discovered that one of the bedroom walls was really damp, causing the paint to flake. After speaking to a few companies (and cowboys) that all told her different things and were charging her a small fortune for fixing, mainly the roof which was absolutely fine, she finally posted to Facebook asking for a reliable company.

We were recommended by a friend of hers, and as soon as we went round to inspect it and saw where the damp was in the bedroom (which was exactly where the pointing was worst) we knew what it was.
It wasn't a hard job to diagnose but we couldn't believe what the other companies had been telling her.
It just goes to show that theres a lot of cowboys out there willing to take advantage of people that don't understand these things.

If you have any jobs that need sorting, or any queries just give us a call on 07910 140 384 and myself (matt) or my brother phil will do our best to help.

Thanks

Matt has been off work for quite some time recovering from surgery that went wrong but today we raked out and repointed this stack including putting on a pot and cowel as it had been blocked causing the stack to sweat!

Good to have you back Matt... because I hate grinding too dusty for me 😉
