Last season the Grafters were asked to remove some dahlias from a garden- the tubers were ours if we wanted them. Having never grown dahlias before, there were doubts if they had even been stored correctly over winter... But success! They've just started flowering and they're beauties!🌸🌼

This week has seen the Grafters getting their mulching groove on! Thanks to The Flying Logman for some great woodchip mulch!

Just remember in this warm weather to w**d and water well before you mulch, so you lock in the moisture which will benefit the plants.

UPDATE!

Grafter 1 doesn't need a knee replacement! 🥳 We're on a phased return, testing the knee and ankle, but so far so good! Grafter 2's nursing skills have been amazing 🤣 Thanks for all your patience and if we haven't been in touch, we will be soon!🥰

📢 Grafter down! One swollen knee, ankle and foot has left Grafter 1 unable to walk! One long visit to NSEC later, we're waiting for results. Grafter 2 is taking care of her patient with admirable devotion!🤪

We may be out of action for a few days but will be in touch if it affects your garden.
