🏡 A little problem-solving in a lovely listed property in Aldington!

We recently helped a customer who was concerned about condensation building up on the windows, particularly when cooking.

Being a listed property, finding a suitable route to duct a new kitchen cooker hood to the outside wasn’t straightforward. Another contractor had previously suggested a possible route, and we were able to work with that solution to get the new hood installed and properly ducted externally.

The result — improved extraction of cooking steam and moisture, helping to reduce condensation while keeping the installation sympathetic to the property. ⚡️🏡

Another example of how sometimes electrical work is as much about finding the right solution as it is about the installation itself.

🔋 Battery Storage Upgrade – GivEnergy to FoxESS ☀️⚡

Another battery storage upgrade completed by Chapman Electrical.

The customer’s existing GivEnergy battery system had developed a fault, but unfortunately the required replacement parts were no longer available.

Rather than continuing to invest in an unsupported system, we replaced the existing equipment with a new FoxESS hybrid inverter and battery storage system, giving the customer a modern, reliable solution with manufacturer support and warranty.

The new system is now fully commissioned and connected to the FoxESS Cloud, allowing the customer to easily monitor their solar generation, battery storage and household energy use.

That’s exactly what this customer in Ashford decided to do.

They already had an existing Solar PV system but wanted to generate more of their own electricity during the afternoon. Rather than changing the existing system, we made use of the available garage roof and installed a second Solar PV array.

☀️ ANOTHER SLICK IN-ROOF SOLAR PV INSTALLATION COMPLETED IN LYMPNE! ☀️

We finished this fantastic in-roof Solar PV system in Lympne last week, designed and installed by Chapman Electrical.

For this installation we used:

⚡ Viridian 440W in-roof solar modules – giving a clean, integrated finish with the panels sitting neatly within the roof rather than above the tiles.

⚡ Enphase microinverters – providing individual panel-level optimisation and monitoring.

🔧 The microinverters have been mounted within the loft space for easy access, making future inspection and maintenance much simpler without needing to access the roof.

🏠 The result is a really slick, low-profile installation that becomes part of the roof itself – ideal for new roofs, extensions and properties where appearance is just as important as performance.
