🌟 New Installation at Lancing College…

A leaky pipe system in a riding arena is an underground irrigation system designed to keep the arena surface at the right moisture level. It uses perforated pipes buried beneath the surface, allowing water to slowly seep out (“leak”) evenly across the arena.

Benefits include:
Reduces dust – especially important in dry weather.
Keeps surface consistency – helps maintain even footing for horses.

Less watering needed on top – can be more efficient than sprinklers.

Arena Irrigation – No Problem for Chart Arenas

This refurbishment project included the installation of a new Leaky Pipe arena irrigation system, laid beneath the upgraded surface for a clean, efficient finish.

A dedicated manifold with maintenance access houses all connections, and the automatic control system means the irrigation can turn on and off without manual intervention - ideal for busy equestrian centres where consistent footing is essential.

Arena irrigation can be retrofitted or installed as part of a new build. These systems save time, reduce water usage compared with traditional sprinklers, and are the modern, reliable way to maintain perfect footing during dry months.

When we have completed an arena construction or a refurbishment we always advise our clients on the best way to keep their areas in great condition.
This often means investing in a new harrow - which we can supply!

We can supply & deliver harrows in 2m and 1.5m widths, with the 1.5m being the most popular.

Chart harrows Include:
✅1.5m or 2m rear roller
🐴Fitted with a tow bar hitch and eyelet plate. (you can remove the towbar hitch off to use the eyelet plate instead)
✅Includes a pull in bar on a spring that retracts so the harrow doesn't catch on fences!
🐴Adjustable wheels to move your harrow from A to B.
✅Finished in bright orange paint for safety and visibility
