A home designed around people, not just plans.

Last week we shared the exciting news that work had started on one of our latest projects.

Now we're delighted to reveal what's taking shape.

This bespoke accessible mobile home has been designed around one family's individual needs and will provide a safe, comfortable and future-ready home while keeping loved ones close by.

Located within the Kent Downs National Landscape, the project required a different approach. By developing the home as a mobile, non-permanent structure, it has been possible to create a beautiful accessible home that respects its sensitive rural setting while meeting the family's long-term needs.

Every Freedom Living Solutions project begins with people, not buildings, and this one is no exception.

A special thank you to Tetlow King Planning for their invaluable expertise and support in helping shape this highly individual solution.

Something very special has started...

Last week we broke ground on a new accessible home project that means a great deal to everyone involved.

Designed around one family's individual needs, this bespoke home will help bring generations together while giving them the independence, comfort and accessibility they deserve.

We're incredibly proud to be part of this journey.

A big thank you goes to the Freedom team working hard on site to get the project underway, despite the recent summer temperatures.

Over the coming months we'll be sharing regular updates as this very special home takes shape, so keep an eye on our page to follow the journey from first foundations through to completion.

Behind the scenes, we've been busy developing several new accessible home projects, and we're getting closer to being able to share them with you.

We're also expecting to be looking for skilled local trades to support projects in the Eltham and Whitstable areas.

For many families, the question isn’t if a home needs to adapt - it’s when.

Recent reports from Age UK and Habinteg highlight a widening gap between how people want to live, and what their homes allow.

We’re seeing this play out across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

Individuals or families often reach a point where stairs, bathrooms or layouts begin to limit daily life.

The challenge isn’t always about finding a more accessible home. It’s about making the existing one work better.

Thoughtfully adapted or reconfigured properties help people stay independent, and in familiar surroundings, for longer. They can also comfortably support and enhance the lives of multi-generational families under one roof.
