Something wicked this way comes ... 🧙

As we approach witching season, our latest journal post is looking at the beauty of painting it black and taking it back and shouting it loud and clear!

We have made some beautifully dark and elegant kitchens over the years and here are a few.

We are entering tumble-dryer season 😭

It’s colder, it’s wetter, it’s darker. But not in this laundry room.

Gorgeous painted fitted furniture by the team.

Our latest blog is live. We are becoming more and more involved with projects that extend beyond the kitchen and we have always believed that beautiful joinery is deserving of any space - or any space is deserving of beautiful joinery!

Here we look at why designing these spaces together makes so much sense. Not because every room should look the same (it shouldn’t), but because thoughtful details, materials and craftsmanship can create a quiet sense of continuity throughout a home.

Discover why designing bespoke joinery across the whole home creates greater continuity, smarter storage and beautifully considered interiors, all made in our Kent workshop.

The weather is turning … it’s warm here in Kent - like wet warm - but it’s definitely a little greyer. I’ve had to find a jumper - but it’s too hot but not that hot, if that makes sense?

But I’m certainly planning a wardrobe sort-out.

Loving this dressing room’s dark and warming walnut. Loving how organised it is too! 🙏

A gorgeous feature from a gorgeous home in Esher, Surrey, where they had ‘his’ and ‘hers’ dressing rooms as part of the joinery project.

This is ‘his.’ 🤎

AI was used to remove my reflection from the mirror — apparently Instagram/Facebook now needs to tell you this. 😂 I’m not that good at photography or Photoshop! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Our latest blog: The Rooms Nobody Used to Talk About?

Do you remember the days when it was always the kitchen and living room? Sometimes the main bedroom - the children decorated their own 😂

But so much has changed - maybe because we are so busy and spend so much more time in our own homes that we want functional spaces to be places we want to be, to be functional ourselves? To enjoy resting, we want a space that promotes restfulness. And, if we want to enjoy ourselves and appreciate things - like good w**e, which I love - it’s nice to have a space just for that.

So. Our latest blog blogs that. Please do have a read.

Happy Fri’yay!

Sometimes, it’s the smallest details that say the most.

A beautifully turned solid oak leg. Traditional dovetail joints. Oak drawers carefully made in our Kent workshop.

We believe the inside of a piece of furniture deserves just as much consideration as the outside — because good craftsmanship isn't only about what you notice at first glance.

It's about how something is made, how it feels to use, and how well it will stand up to years of everyday life.

Beautifully made. Built to last.

We're more than kitchens.

Kitchens might be what we're best known for, but our workshop makes bespoke furniture for the whole home.

Dressing rooms, boot rooms, bedrooms, libraries, home offices, media cabinetry — and pieces that don't necessarily fit neatly into any category at all.

Because everything we make is bespoke, we're not limited by a range, a catalogue or standard sizes. We design around your home and how you want to live in it, then make it here in our Kent workshop.

Bespoke interiors, made for your home.

All of our kitchens have a story and a context, and I think one is one of our richest: a Georgian kitchen made for modern family life.

Set within a beautiful Georgian home in Sandhurst, Kent, this kitchen needed to feel sympathetic to its surroundings without becoming a reproduction of the past. Deep painted cabinetry, a light oak island, Carrara marble, burnished brass and carefully considered bespoke joinery bring together old and new — while a generous island creates the sociable heart of a home where cooking is very much a family affair.

One of our favourite details is the Indian stone chosen for the island, a subtle connection to our client's family heritage and a reminder that the most successful interiors should tell something of the people who live in them.

Forever smiling when I see the depth in the materials used - a beautiful kitchen made for such lovely people too.
