Been a bit quiet on here lately… we’ve been flat out! 💨

Here’s one of our latest jobs. The stairs, hallway and landing all got a fresh skim, and you’d never believe the walls and ceilings were covered in heavy artex before.

We also sorted the living room and dining room ceilings while we were there to get everything looking spot on. 👊

Bedroom and living room fully skimmed, with the living room having a chimney breast and bay area that really stood out once finished.

Always satisfying seeing tired old walls come back up smooth and sharp ready for decorating 🎨

Never overlook the smaller jobs 👌

This used to be an old window opening before the extension was built, so the area needed bonding out and skimming back into the existing wall ready for decorating.

Sometimes it’s the smaller areas that take the most care to get looking right and blended in properly.

Two artex ceilings getting the gravy.

No scraping.
One heavy coat, one tight coat, flattened, troweled and light polish.

Stabilised and primed using sbr and sandtex stabilising solution before being finished in Thistle Board Finish.
