A recent kitchen project completed by the Vortex team

We carried out the electrical works, including the lighting, helping bring the finished kitchen together and making sure everything was finished to a high standard.

It’s the small details that make a difference, and the lighting really helps set the space off.

We’re attending Facilities & Estates Management Live! ⚡

On 20–21 October 2026, the Vortex Electrical Services team will be at the Business Design Centre, London for Facilities & Estates Management Live.

We’re looking forward to meeting facilities managers, FM companies, property professionals and other businesses across the industry, and having some good conversations about electrical compliance, testing, maintenance and reactive services.

We have been working on a grade listed building this year and it it really coming together!

Working with these types of buildings requires us to sometimes think outside of the box, work with other contractors and maintain clear communication throuhgout and the results are starting to show.

We will update more as we continue to progress through this project.

Vortex is growing across Kent, London and the South East — and we're looking for someone to help us grow faster.

You'll be the person on the phone to FM providers, managing agents and commercial clients who aren't expecting your call, and the person who turns that first conversation into ongoing, recurring work. You'll look after the accounts we've already got, chase down the ones we haven't, and work closely with our engineering team so you always know what we can deliver and when.

No electrical background needed, full training on our services is provided. What we do need: confidence, curiosity, and someone who's commercially minded enough to care about the numbers.
