Different post from us today but just feel like one is needed as twice in the last few months we have been to properties attending to emergency issues and heard absolute horror stories from the customers with other “contractors/companies” attending before us and scaring the customers with crazy advice and high prices! It’s such a shame as it just gives us all a bad name and puts fear in people when they are in need or looking for help at their most vulnerable times.

The most recent one was this week, a customer had a leak from a water pipe and some sockets were affected below due to water ingress. One electrician went there and half sorted it leaving no power to some sockets then another attended after to say now water has got in the wiring the whole house needs a full rewire which will be £8k and they need to leave the house for a week as soon as possible. The couple are elderly and they were in absolute bits. We attended the day after with someone recommending us and within a few hours the issue was sorted at a cost of less than 5% of what they quoted for the rewire which after all really wasn’t necessary.

It’s such a shame that these people are out there but unfortunately they are so just becareful. It happens in all trades daily putting a bad aura on us that are genuinely trying to do a good job and look after the customer at all costs.

This was a great project to be apart of with amazing end results the planning and work that went into it from everyone really worked and it all just came together!
