From Hutchison’s Distribution warehouse and Big Box Storage in Tonbridge in 2014, to our recent Opak industrial unit and Natural Fit wellness centre, Kent Structures continues to deliver commercial construction projects across Kent and the South East.

But 12 years in business is about more than the projects we have delivered. It is about the people and relationships behind them.

We wouldn’t be here today without our excellent in-house team, trusted contractors, professional partners and, of course, our valued clients.

Some have been with us since day one, returning to Kent Structures time and again for their construction projects.

That gives us a great excuse to say THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, worked with us and trusted us over the past 12 years.

We look forward to continuing those relationships and building on them for many years to come.

Another key stage completed at the Nutradirect facility in Aylesford, where the Kent Structures team has now completed five new lift pits.

The pits will accommodate lifts serving both ‘goods in’ and ‘waste out’, forming an important part of the facility’s day-to-day operation.

The photos show the process from start to finish, including the initial breakout, rebar installation, formwork and concrete pours through to the completed pits.

Careful sequencing and accurate construction of these elements is essential to keeping the wider project moving forward.

Great new accessible home extension project in Southeast London getting underway for our sister company Freedom Living Solutions. Looking forward to seeing this one take shape.

We’re delighted to be underway with a new accessible home project in Southeast London - and our first project in the area.

Working alongside Studio Partington, we’re delivering a fully accessible ground-floor extension and refurbishment designed around the changing needs of a disabled child and her family.

From a carefully planned open-plan family space and dedicated therapy room to specialist bathroom facilities, Smart Home technology and innovative walking ceiling hoists, every element has been considered around care, comfort, independence and family life.

And there’s plenty more to come.

Our Freedom construction team is already on site and we look forward to sharing project progress with you over the coming months.

With an exciting new Education project in the offing, we're revisiting a school project this .

The School Theatre Auditorium at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar in Faversham was designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating Modern Methods of Construction to deliver a high-quality, energy-efficient facility.

The 300-seat auditorium features Ecobrix Durisol sustainable, highly insulated ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction, together with a Passivent natural ventilation system.

This was our first Design & Build project for Queen Elizabeth's Grammar, and we've maintained a close working relationship with the school ever since. Over the years, we've delivered a range of projects for the school, including a new teaching block, sports hall and multi-purpose dining hall facility.

And now, there's another exciting Education project on the horizon…

We look forward to revealing more in due course. It's a significant project, and one we're particularly looking forward to sharing with you.

PROJECT COMPLETE | Natural Fit Maidstone

We’re delighted to have completed works at Natural Fit Maidstone - our third project for Natural Fit Gyms.

The new wellness centre combines high-end fitness and leisure facilities with an innovative construction approach, including an exposed Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) structure and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).

The completed facility includes a new swimming pool, jacuzzi, modern changing rooms and a padel court, alongside a major reconfiguration of the car park.

It was a challenging build, particularly through the winter months, but our site team delivered a fantastic result.

A special mention goes to Kane, our Site Manager, who has delivered his first project in the role at an impressive scale. A fantastic achievement!

Something very special has started...

Last week we broke ground on a new accessible home project that means a great deal to everyone involved.

Designed around one family's individual needs, this bespoke home will help bring generations together while giving them the independence, comfort and accessibility they deserve.

We're incredibly proud to be part of this journey.

A big thank you goes to the Freedom team working hard on site to get the project underway, despite the recent summer temperatures.

As our latest fitness centre project nears completion, today's looks back at another memorable sports and leisure project.

Kent Structures has delivered a range of design and build projects across the Sport and Leisure sector over the years.

Barn Elms Sports Centre is particularly notable as the only permanent above-ground structure delivered as part of one of London's largest civil engineering schemes.

Constructed as part of the Tideway Tunnel project, the sports centre sits close to the River Thames, requiring several specialist design considerations.

It's a busy time at Kent Structures, with two new projects getting underway this month. While things have been a little quieter on social media, it's certainly not because we've been standing still!

Here's a quick look at the first construction milestone at our Nutra Direct project in Aylesford.

As Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, we're overseeing the installation of a substantial two-storey mezzanine to significantly increase our client's operational capacity.

Project stats:

• Scale: Two-storey mezzanine structure.

• Footprint: Delivering approximately 6,600 sqm of additional operational space.

• Progress: The initial column layout is complete, and the first-floor steel grid is already taking shape.

Constructing a structure of this scale demands careful planning, precise co-ordination and expert delivery.
