๐ Plants that I've personally seen in gardens I maintain this week, that are surviving the drought well.
๐ชปLiatris spicata, also known as the blazing star. I planted the bulbs this spring, and hasn't been watered once all summer.
๐บ Fuchsia, hot lips, are doing amazing as always in this drought. The hydrangeas in the picture are doing well, but I've seen many really struggling so it definitely isn't drought resistant.
๐ชด Althaea officinalis, a Marshmallow plant, always stuns in summer with no water.
๐ชป Buddleia, Butterfly bush, you literally cannot kill a Buddleia and of the course the butterfly's and bees love them.
๐ผ We are obviously going to have to re-think how we are going to plant if this is going to happen every summer.
