This one had a bit more to it than it first looked...

Our client needed their old lead and wooden cladding removed, but once we got into it we found the wooden seal under the window had rotted right through.

Not something you want to leave.

We replaced it with a PVC seal, reinstated the existing window, and then got to work on the full installation:

18mm OSB, breathable membrane, 25x50 treated batten, and Cedral cladding throughout.

The kind of job where you do it properly or you do it twice. We prefer the first option.

If your cladding is looking tired or you've spotted signs of rot, get in touch before a small problem becomes a big one.

Rotten flat roof in Gerrards Cross 👇

This one had been left exposed...

No capping on the stones = water getting straight in over time.

Here’s what we did:
• stripped it back
• replaced all rotten timbers
• new OSB boards fitted
• installed fleece-backed EPDM rubber roof
• 600mm Code 5 lead capping added
• lead flashings fitted to the rear

Now fully sealed, protected, and built to last.

This is what happens when the job isn’t finished properly the first time.
