Extended open-plan sight lines provide unique opportunities for the eye to appreciate a combination of colours that might not normally be used together in the same room.
Using shades from two complementary colour families - for example, green and pink - will introduce harmonious contrast, defining individual spaces whilst achieving subtle connection.
