We haven’t posted for a while, here are some photos and an explanation from one of our recent jobs
Essential repair work for crop irrigation
A farmer called explaining the water pump to water his crops was cutting out every 2 hours.
After arriving on site it was clear that the panel to control the pump was excessively hot, we went through the fault codes saved to the motor control panel to find code "heatsink temp". The cooling fans on the rear of the panel had failed and due to the warm temperatures just now the panel began overheating. Once the fans were removed it was clear they had been there for a while. New fans were fitted, a quick refurbishment of the mounting plate and a slight modification to the wiring to allow easier access for any future work to be carried out.
