PLANNING APPROVED! 🏡

The second of our three recently approved homes is now ready to reveal…

This new bespoke home in rural South Ayrshire has been designed for a brownfield site, transforming an existing underused area into a new family home.

The design takes inspiration from the agricultural buildings and natural materials found throughout the surrounding countryside, while introducing a contemporary approach to the form and detailing.

The simple barn-style forms are finished in dark vertical cladding, complemented by natural stone walls and landscaping, helping the new home sit naturally within the rural setting.

The site itself presented a number of challenges, with the design carefully responding to the existing topography, landscape and surrounding woodland.

PLANNING APPROVED! 🏡

We’re delighted to have secured planning approval for this new rural family home in East Ayrshire.

The design takes inspiration from the traditional architecture of the surrounding properties, while introducing a contemporary approach to the layout and detailing.

Designed as a one-and-three-quarter-storey home, the proposal makes the most of the available space, providing three generous bedrooms on the first floor, including a spacious master suite.

The ground floor provides a further bedroom and generous bathroom, alongside an open-plan kitchen and living space and a separate large lounge.

At the centre of the home is a modern, spacious entrance hall, designed to connect the different living spaces and create a welcoming sense of arrival.

We carried out an air tightness test on this lovely new build recently.
The air test certificate is part of a package required to obtain the completion certificate and shall be submitted along with the EPC and commissioning certificates.
