Howards Painting and Decorating

🎨 And that’s a wrap on our exterior work for 2026! 🏡

What better way to finish the exterior season than by giving this conservatory a full freshen-up! 👌

Not only does it look the part, but the right preparation and quality exterior coatings will help protect it from the British weather and keep it looking great for years to come. 💪🌧️☀️

A lovely project to finish the year on! ❤️

Now it’s time to turn our attention indoors… 🖌️🏠

A fresh new look for this bedroom 🤍

We’ve given the space a soft, timeless feel with colour drenching, carrying the same shade across the walls, woodwork and bespoke cabinetry.

Simple, calming and beautifully cohesive.

We take pride in every job but this one’s a bit special… My little girl now has her very own “big girls room”… Pretty much a busman’s holiday for the last week or so but she’s absolutely thrilled with it so was absolutely worth it 💕

A lot of work and effort went into this one… each drawer was painted inside and out (primed and 2 top coats). Very tedious to say the least but we think it looks absolutely fantastic!

The secret is out!

Here’s a little look at our latest project, now completed alongside the incredibly talented team at Danebury Design Ltd .

We’ve used Farrow & Ball throughout, giving this beautiful 18th-century house a fresh new lease of life while still respecting all of its wonderful original character. From the traditional beams and brickwork to the stunning orangery, it’s been a real pleasure bringing this project together.

We can’t wait to see the finished article once everything is fully furnished and complete — it’s going to look incredible! 👌

A huge thank you to everyone involved. 🏡✨

This week we’ve started a brand-new project that we’re incredibly excited to be working on. We can’t wait to share more with you as it progresses, but for now… you’ll have to stay tuned!

Watch this space – we promise it’ll be worth the wait! 👀🎨

✨ Before ➡️ After ✨

What a transformation on this beautiful thatched cottage! We’ve given all the windows and doors a fresh new lease of life in Quintessential Blue, and we think the finish looks exactly that… absolutely quintessential. 💙

The soft blue perfectly complements the character of the property while adding a crisp, clean finish that will stand the test of time. From tired and weathered to fresh and full of charm – it’s amazing what a professional paint finish can do.
