A nice little office for a repeat customer this week! It was a nice break to decorate this after my last massive project, I didn't find a single unexpected surprise! It was actually straightforward and everything went to plan, it almost felt too good to be true! 🤣

So, this will be the final post of Manor Lodge, there have been many! So here are just a few finished pics, a couple before and afters, and a pic of how much resin we've got through 🤣

7 weeks I've been here, weeks of hard prep, up and down the scaffold, discovering previous bodge jobs, and putting them right with effective repairs. We used modern products and techniques to preserve this beautiful old buildings timber windows, fascia, soffit, doors and frames, in a heritage appropriate finish and colour. 🤌

I want to say a massive thank you to Jamie Rickell Carpentry who I could not have been without on this project, legend.💪

And last but not least, an enormous thank you to my Mrs Sophie Hall who was by my side for the whole ordeal, and went above and beyond grafting away.❤️

This has been a very challenging, and very enjoyable project, that I'm happy I get to add to my portfolio. 🫡

So a fellow decorator asked me to share the technique for applying dry seal, here you go mate! 👌🫡 I like the monarch putty knife, you can use whatever tool you fancy! It's trial and error like so many things in decorating, have a play have a practice!

New van day! Big deal for me, I've never had a modern van, I've been driving around in 15/20 year old rattle machines for my whole career basically! 🤣 I'm going to look into getting it all sign written and swanky, I'm just really happy to have enough space for all my tools finally 🤣

The cost of resin repairs, a lot of people say its too expensive, personally, I dont think it is compared to the alternative!
