69 years young and still showing the lads how it’s done! 👏🪵

A special shoutout to Arnie, who celebrated his 69th birthday yesterday! 🎂

Arnie is one of the most experienced members of the MCR Repairs team, and on this project he was putting those years of knowledge to good use — while passing them on to the youngest member of our team.

The job involved traditionally French polishing this timber garage door and front door, removing the tired dark finish and restoring the beautiful natural grain underneath.

Watching Arnie teach the traditional techniques he’s learned over decades to the next generation is exactly how these skills are kept alive.

69 at one end of the team, our youngest at the other — you can’t beat experience being passed down. 💙

And judging by the finished doors… Arnie’s still got it! 🔥👏

Happy Birthday, Arnie! 🎂

“Just replace the whole window…”

Steady on—we’re not made of money. 😂

This damaged wood-effect window sill was rebuilt, colour-matched and carefully grained by one of our cosmetic repair technicians.

No replacement. No drama. No one will ever know… unless they watch this video. 👀

Another seamless repair by MCR Repairs. ✅

⭐ Fantastic customer feedback ⭐

We recently received this brilliant message following the transformation of a customer’s windows, doors and two porches:

“We couldn’t have wished for anything better. Joe, Josh and Mark arrived on time, were friendly, chatty and respectful throughout. We are so happy with the finished work—they have all done an excellent job from start to finish.”

A huge thank you to our customer for taking the time to share such kind feedback, and well done to Joe, Josh and Mark for representing MCR Repairs so professionally.

The before-and-after photos show what a difference professional spraying can make—completely transforming the appearance of existing windows and doors without the cost of replacing them.

What a weekend for the MCR Repairs team! 💚

On Friday, the team took on The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience in Manchester—a brilliant afternoon of challenges, teamwork and plenty of friendly competition!

Then on Sunday, some of the lads swapped the maze for their running shoes and completed the Altrincham 10K in aid of Francis House Children's Hospice. 🏃‍♂️👏

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and supported such a worthwhile local charity.

⚡ The future has arrived at MCR Repairs…

No DeLorean required. 👀

The latest addition to the MCR Repairs fleet looks like it’s come straight out of Back to the Future — although this one’s built for repairing buildings rather than travelling through time. ⚡️

Our new fully electric van is officially on the road, sporting our latest MCR branding and helping us take another step towards a newer, cleaner and more efficient fleet.

As the business continues to grow, so does the fleet — and we think this might be our best-looking addition yet. 💚

Where we’re going, we don’t need petrol… 🔋⚡️

Damaged worktop? Don’t replace it—repair it. 🛠️

Small damage. Big difference. 👌

In this repair, we restored a chipped section on a tiled surface, carefully colour-matching and blending the repair so it disappears into the surrounding finish.

Why replace an entire tile when a professional repair can save time, money, and disruption?

✅ Cost-effective alternative to replacement
✅ Seamless colour matching
✅ Fast, professional results
✅ Extends the life of your surfaces

It's all about the details—and getting them right.
