To begin the clean safely, I carefully went over the entire patio using a surface cleaner. This method allows me to clean the paving thoroughly without damaging or disturbing the joints between the slabs.

Once the heavy algae was lifted, I then used the turbo nozzle to rinse away all the remaining dirt, muck, and organic buildup from the surface.

After the patio was fully cleaned and prepared, it was ready for a sodium hypochlorite treatment to target the remaining black spots and organic staining. Because of the strength of the solution, I applied it carefully by hand using a brush and bucket method. This allowed me to control exactly where the treatment went while ensuring every part of the patio was fully covered properly.

Once the treatment had done its job, everything was thoroughly rinsed down, the furniture was cleaned and placed back into position, and the entire area was left tidy, presentable, and ready to enjoy again.

This pressure washing and exterior cleaning work was carried out in Altrincham, Bowdon, Manchester.

This driveway cleaning project in Wilmslow is easily one of my favourite transformations so far. 🙌

The driveway was heavily discoloured, covered in lichen, and packed with years of built-up dirt. It took plenty of time, patience, and attention to detail, but the results were well worth it.

After a full driveway clean, treatment, and re-sanding, the customer was delighted with the finish and left a 5⭐ Google review.

Before the clean, the surface was extremely slippery and unsafe to walk on, especially when wet. This is a common issue on patios and paving across the UK, particularly on Indian sandstone and natural stone, where algae builds up over time.

Before & after transformation 👀➡️

This patio was covered in grime, weeds, and slippery build-up that made it unsafe to walk on. After a full clean, the natural colour of the Indian sandstone is back and the whole space looks fresh again.

Finished it off by tidying and setting the furniture back up, ready for the client to enjoy the summer weather ☀️

Another transformation completed ✅

This patio and outdoor space is now looking fresh, clean, and summer-ready ☀️

I started with a full surface clean of the patio, removing built-up algae, dirt, and grime for a spotless finish. The outdoor rug was carefully cleaned using the lance, while the garden furniture was pressure washed to remove stubborn grime and help restore its original colour. All windows and surrounding areas were then carefully rinsed down, with everything neatly repositioned to leave the space looking fresh, tidy, and ready for summer evenings, barbecues, and relaxing outdoors.

I also worked around the side access and front of the property, giving pathways a light rinse to remove cobwebs and surface dirt, along with a gutter clean to help maintain proper water flow around the home.

Nice job completed yesterday and the clients were really happy with the results. Started off using the surface cleaner to lift all the dirt without damaging the joints, then rinsed everything down before applying a chemical treatment to the patio stones.

Left that to dwell for around 40 minutes while I cleaned down all the furniture, then came back to rinse everything off properly. Any stubborn bits were carefully removed by hand to avoid disturbing the joints. Finished off by putting everything back in place and hand cleaning the glass furniture and windows for that perfect finish ✨

Also learned something new on this one which I didn’t know before — algae on render can actually be removed properly with a chemical treatment. Always good to keep learning and improving, and it’s something I can now add to my service offerings moving forward.

Despite the challenge of no drainage, we made it work and achieved a clean, polished finish.

Really pleased with how this one turned out — and more importantly, so was the customer.
