So I've been dealing with an interesting job today.

A copper beech, heavily shaded on one side of its crown by a larger and more mature co dominant fagus sylvatica.

By lifting the crown, and reducing the upper right crown mass back to appropriate growth points we aim to relieve stress from bias and promote apical growth in the leaner side of this wonderful specimen!

Newly completed artificial turf lawn with Mr and Mrs Reed and baby Ted.

Previously the garden was set in an ornamental state, not conducive to a family environment.

Now the space is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
