And today folks it was mainly birds nests 🦅

This wasn’t a huge nest but it was incredibly compacted into one dog leg of the chimney and proved a good challenge to remove it.

All in all it took about 12 passes with the brushes to remove it all and then a quick check with the camera to make sure the flue was all clear again.

Nest removed and it’s ready for the seasons ahead 🔥🪵🔥

My weapon of choice after sweeping a larger flue with my traditional brush is to finish and tidy the lower part with my trusty chimney broom.
It lives in the van with the brushes and is strictly a chimney broom.
For cleaning that chimney opening it’s perfect 🔥
