Some big Corsican Pines this week. Shame to take them down but with a bungalow below and recently exposed to the winds following storm damage, there was no choice.

A huge shame but this large Horse Chestnut had to go. Uprooted by the storm and resting on a neighbouring tree (also damaged). Poised over a residential access road. Stone gatepost survived intact.

Just a quick snapshot of the week since the storm hit. There's still a lot to do but hopefully through most of the emergency work now. Can't beat having a good team when the going gets tough.

Removal of a large Ash suffering from die back. Not bad for 43 seconds work 👍

Winch assisted fell of very large Cherry. Close proximity to 2 brand new caravans meant all necessary precautions were taken. Base also tied off due to steep bank.

It's been a while so I thought a general update was in order. It's been a busy time thinning woodlands, clearing powerlines and avoiding caravans. Fortunately the weather has been on our side.
