A week of vegetation clearance at Knaresborough Castle in Yorkshire. 🏰

The moat hadn’t been maintained here for a few years and overgrown. Young Sycamore, Elder and Blackthorn 🙃 most of which amongst 10ft brambles 😃. We cleared the area followed by treating stumps and spraying remaining brambles with herbicide. 🌳

Multiple Sycamore with co-dominant stems forming weak unions increasing chances of failure. Heavily weighted over this clients house decision was made to fell to ground level.

⛽️ ⚡️gas tank, electric line and a shed the targets on this fairly substantial Poplar dismantle today in the Scottish Borders. All avoided with some technical rigging.

3000 Trees planted by our team for a client in Northumberland. Some Scots pine and a range of broadleaves consisting of Oak, Willow, Birch, Poplar, Lime and Hazel have been planted to create a mixed woodland supporting a range of biodiversity in the future.

All planted with guards which promote growth and protect the trees in their early stages from grazing deer and small mammals.
