And so Catriona ‘The Blue Hand’ L’More enters the story once again. Sharing a similar quest for vengeance for family and tribe lost at the hands of others. In a strange turn of events, she befriended and now travels with Othimiirthalser in an effort to track down those that wronged them.
The barbarian woman stands tall, head and shoulders above both men and women. She holds herself proud, with the confidence of a warrior not easily vested in combat.
“We don’t worry ourselves with the petty squabbles between man, dwarf, and elf. We fight for our own concerns.”
As she speaks, the young blue dragon, not far from adulthood, rises to his feet from a resting spot behind her. Wings stretching out in a show of size, his deep, booming voice continues where the barbarians left off.
“And our concerns are of no concern to you.”
As Othimiirthalser came to trust Catriona, a trust that went both ways, they promised one another that they would seek out those who had wronged each of them and right the damage done.
The barbarian woman would enter outposts, villages, towns, and cities to seek out clues and leads something that as you may imagine wouldn’t be as easy for a dragon. They followed these leads Northeast through the mountains and as the trust between them grew the dragon made the barbarian an offer that would put him in great risk.
As the bond between the two travelling companions continued to grow along with their mutual want for revenge, Othimiirthalser made the dangerous decision, for a dragon of his young years, to imbue upon the barbarian the powers of the Dragon Touched.
A ritual that would be dangerous for him and leave him in a weak state for several weeks to follow. The payoff being that his companion would be on the receiving end of magical powers which came to the forefront when she flew into a rage during combat.
This combined with a gift from his mother’s treasure hoard, a great sword known as Thunders Kiss, made the barbarian woman almost as much of a threat as the dragon himself.
