⚡ Why a Site Survey Matters Before Installing an EV Charger ⚡

One of the most important parts of an EV charger installation happens BEFORE the charger is even fitted.

A proper site survey allows us to assess:

PROJECT COMPLETE.

22Kw pump install.

New Pump Control Panel with Variable Speed Drive.

200mtr 6pair cable pull between panel and control room to provide remote start/stop operation and open/close of outlet actuator valves.

Install of high level tank alarms, with bespoke built sounder control box. This allows a siren and beacon to alarm tanker operators when inlet tanks are nearly full. Operator can then silence sounder and close inlet actuator via remote airline switch mounted on alarm panel.
Another nice wee feature is once alarm is silenced, the beacon will still flash until tank levels drop.

Pressure sensor fitted and calibrated with display sensor mounted on side of sounder control box.

Few changes in scope with this one to give client exactly what they need.

But basically went as follows;
New tray work,
Upgraded Earth and Earth bar installed
New control panel
New pump and flow sensors
New high level sensor
Bespoke design alarm box
Remote switch at control room
Pressure sensors and gauges
Commissioning, testing and certification

Stop getting unqualified people to do your electrics.

Ask for insurances, proof of qualifications and what accrediting body the electrician is registered with.

The amount of crap we have to fix because the kitchen fitter, joiner, builder, plumber, bathroom fitter did the electrics and made a mess of everything.

Or even better hire a reputable builder who proudly hires and manages the correct trades to complete your project.
