We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team, working in our main HQ office in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
Key Requirements:

Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and keep track of financial details.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
β
Computer Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential. Experience in using QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Excel is highly desirable.

Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and meet strict financial deadlines.
β
Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify discrepancies and find practical solutions.
β
Interpersonal Skills: Professional and friendly demeanor, with the ability to work well within a finance team.
β
Discretion and Confidentiality: Handling sensitive financial information with absolute integrity.
Role Tasks:

General Accounting Support: Assisting with day-to-day financial operations.
β
Managing Correspondence: Handling financial emails, invoices, and mail.
β
Answering Phones: Directing calls, taking messages, and providing account information.
β
Maintaining Records: Organising and updating physical and electronic financial files.
β
Data Entry: Inputting and updating information in accounting software and spreadsheets.
β
Office Support: Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.
Previous experience in a similar accounts or administrative support role is desirable.
