James Engineering Constructions can provide a full service for the design, manufacture and repair of secondary steelwork, including support-steel of all types, additions to existing steelwork, extensions, modifications, barriers, frameworks or any other steelwork for which you may have a requirement. Mezzanine floors for any type of retail outlets can be supplied complete with front of house stairs and balustrades and handrails to clients’ individual needs. Networking in Scotland!

Our own Phil & Grant (aka Andrew Whitton & Trevor Kerry) attended Specifi Ltd event in Edinburgh yesterday, where they had a highly productive day building new connections and opening doors to fresh opportunities.

They are now heading back to the Midlands on a very wet Thursday afternoon, reflecting on a successful trip north.

A significant milestone leaving our workshop today as the top section of this impressive self-supporting chimney leaves our site, with the bottom section following later this week.

Standing 26 metres high and 2182mm in diameter, this ground-mounted chimney has been designed for a 25-year operational life. Manufactured in two externally flanged sections, it will house and support two 27-metre-high stainless steel flue liners serving both the boiler and oxidiser systems.

Key project features include:
✔ 26m high self-supporting chimney
✔ 2No 27m stainless steel flue liners
✔ Designed for site ambient temperatures of 350°C
✔ Fully designed, manufactured and installed by
