Are you a skilled and experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking for your next career move? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team!

**What we're looking for:
✅ Fully ACS qualified with a minimum of 2 years of breakdown experience.
✅ A full, clean driving license.
✅ A motivated individual who is flexible to cover evenings, weekends, and seasonal peaks.
➕ unvented, renewables, FGAS, LPG, OFtec advantageous.

**What you'll be doing:
You'll handle a variety of work including breakdowns, servicing, installs, and general plumbing across Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Dudley, Sutton Coldfield, and Staffordshire. (Area shared with other engineers)

**What we offer:

Devastating scenes in Stourbridge this morning.

Not to blow our own trumpet, but this one deserves a mention… 🎺

Last Friday morning, one of our regular customers called to say their Glow-worm combi boiler (installed by us in 2024) wouldn’t fire up.

The customer had errands to run in the morning and asked if an engineer could pop over in the afternoon instead.

No problem. 👍

Ryan arrived, carried out his diagnostics and quickly identified a failed PCB. He contacted Glow-worm/Vaillant Warranty Support with the diagnosis and boiler details and requested a warranty call-out.

As luck would have it, a Vaillant engineer was just 15 minutes away finishing another job – and he had the required PCB on his van.

Ryan stayed on site, the Vaillant engineer arrived, fitted the new PCB under warranty, and the boiler was back up and running in no time. While he was there, Ryan even completed the annual service.

From breakdown report to repaired, serviced and fully operational again: just 1.5 hours. ⏱️

We’re not saying Ryan is a super hero… but by the time the customer got home from her errands, the boiler was repaired, serviced and happily heating away again. 😄🔥

A great example of what can be achieved when experienced engineers, excellent manufacturer support and good communication all come together.
