This houghton drystone wall was built by us a few years back and it’s still looking as good as the day we left.

Glad to be back to continue with more drystone walling around this estate.

We are proud to be keeping these traditional building techniques alive.

Concrete gas tank pad install

Reduced dig down to depth, 6 inch of type 1 laid. Shuttering installed oversized to accommodate future expansion as more tanks to be installed in a later date. Concrete laid at 6inch with mesh, up to required specifications given from gas company.
Trench dug and gas main laid ready for a subcontractor to fusion-weld to an existing main and connect up to the tank.
Trench backfilled with sand and warning tape. Site fully reinstated and left tidy.🚧

Groundworks completed on a recent new build.

Site scraped and levelled.✅
new site entrance road put in.✅
footings dug to required specifications and concrete poured.✅
Substructure built and a block and beam floor laid.✅
Internal drainage installed.✅

Left a tidy site ready for the next trade to take over.🚧

Over 80mtrs of new foul drainage installed recently into an existing system. To achieve proper drainage falls we had to excavate up to 1.1 meters at the inlet side. We installed a short steep section before the long run to get the foul from one elevation to the other, having this it will eliminate solids being left behind. Inspection chambers added either end of the section and one put in at 50 meters away from the nearest inspection chamber to keep to building regulations, this ensures if ever a blockage it can be easily rodded or have a survey carried out in the future. Pipe laid on and encased in 100mm of pea grit to avoid movement over the years and keep proper falls. 🚧✅

Back to previous job, where we was working with the stone masons. New drainage runs put in and a new water supply to the garage. footings dug and concreted to carry on the stone wall. 🚧✅

Our 1.7t excavator is perfect for working in tight conditions like this!

Small driveway refurb.🚘

Customer wanted a new look to there driveway and to eliminate water puddling in places. we scraped off all the old gravel and vegetation, then we assessed levels and roughed up the sub base, so when we started to put down new sub base it bonded with the existing base to eliminate potholes in the future. Compacted to a high standard then finally topped with 20mm flint. ✅🚧

Ground protection is a must! ✅
Unless we are doing a full site makeover or in a area where ground protection is not necessary, we always use our ground protection mats. This helps eliminate any unnecessary mess or damage to the area. It also helps stop ground compaction when moving our machines around, which means in the long term you won’t have any problems with grass growing or water not being able to pe*****te the soil. 🚧

Did you know? We can work alongside other trades or contractors.
Here’s a recent job where we was working with some local stonemasons. We dug the footings and concreted them, ready for the masons to build there lovely stone wall.
Soon be back for the next stage when they’re ready for us! 🚧 👷‍♂️

When we adapt or add new sections of drainage onto existing runs, we always send our camera down to make sure there is no foreign debris or anything that can cause a blockage. By doing this, it gives you the customer satisfaction that no problems will ever occur in the future. 🚧🚽

Customer wanted a new path cutting into this bank.
We cut in a new path whilst destumping along the way, new path compacted to a high standard to eliminate erosion in the future, we also reshaped the bank.
All ready for the customer to put in there own edgings and to plant up and grass seed 🌱🌾
