To say it means a lot to the McPherson family would be an understatement.

It’s been a hell of a time for the family recently, following the sudden loss of our beloved Shug. 💙 It’s knocked us hard, and naturally things have been a little slower than usual while we’ve tried to navigate such a difficult period.

🔨 Bathroom Floor Repair & New Non-Slip Vinyl Flooring 🛁

Another job completed to bring a damaged bathroom floor back up to standard.

The existing floor had suffered water damage from a leak around the bath, leaving part of the floor rotten and needing to be removed. We stripped out the damaged section and replaced it with new CaberFloor, before fitting plywood over the entire floor to provide a solid, smooth and suitable surface.

To finish the job, we supplied and fitted a hard-wearing, non-slip vinyl floor covering, giving the bathroom a fresh, clean and practical finish.

Floor repaired, protected and finished to a high standard. 👌

McPherson Contracts Ltd will be closed for the entire day on Thursday 20th August as we take Shug McPherson on his final journey, his funeral will be held at Holytown Crematorium at 1.30pm for anyone wishing to pay their respects.

Repair Works at Johnston High School, Renfrew 🔨🔨🔨

McPherson Contracts Ltd has been carrying out repair works to defective brickwork at Johnston High School, Renfrew.

To safely access the affected areas, our external scaffolding contractor erected a specially designed independent truss scaffold spanning over the building’s fragile glazed roof. This access solution allows our operatives to work safely at height while ensuring no load is placed directly onto the glass atrium below.

Using this secure working platform, our experienced operatives have been carefully removing defective brickwork and carrying out the necessary repairs to restore the integrity of the building façade. Throughout the project, safety, quality workmanship and minimal disruption to the school have remained our top priorities.
