Another boiler replaced in Weybridge and another happy customer ✅

The existing Keston boiler was on its last legs, with internal leaks and a badly rusted chassis. The customer wanted it replaced before winter to give them peace of mind and improve reliability.

Due to the existing twin flue system being routed across the kitchen within a shallow ceiling, we installed a new Keston S30 system boiler allowing us to work with the existing flue arrangement without unnecessary disruption.

We also fitted a Keston system filter, giving the customer the benefit of an extended seven-year warranty.

The timing couldn’t have been better. As we arrived to carry out the replacement, the old boiler had started leaking heavily from its main heat exchanger.

A smart, reliable upgrade completed just in time for the colder months 🔥

🔥 Boiler upgrade completed this week 🔥

We removed an old Ideal Mexico boiler and installed a new Glow-worm Energy 7 25kW heat-only boiler.

The existing C-plan system was also upgraded to a fully pumped S-plan system, including:

✅ New Grundfos circulation pump
✅ New Danfoss heating and hot-water programmer
✅ Two new zone valves
✅ Magnetic system filter
✅ Full commissioning and landlord gas safety certificate

The customer contacted us at the beginning of the week, and we had the entire job completed just a few days later.

💧 Leak Detection & Repair – Molesey

We were recently called out to a property in Molesey to investigate a concealed water leak.

Using our thermal imaging equipment, we were able to identify the location of the leak on our first visit without causing unnecessary damage to the property.

Rather than removing the shower tray and surrounding finishes, we came up with a less invasive solution — accessing the pipework externally through the brickwork.

Once access was made, we located a leaking push-fit fitting, carried out the repair and got the customer back up and running with minimal disruption and damage.

💧 HIDDEN LEAK? WE’LL FIND IT.

This leak was concealed beneath the floor with no obvious access.

Using targeted leak detection methods, we were able to locate the source and keep the access required to a small, controlled area — rather than unnecessarily lifting large sections of flooring.

Once exposed, the leaking pipework was identified and repaired.

Another commercial plumbing project completed this week for a customer who owns a block of flats.

The building was originally supplied through a single water meter, so we installed a new multi-outlet water manifold ready for the local water authority to return and fit individual water meters to each flat.

This installation provides a neat, organised and future-proof solution, allowing every property to have its own independently metered water supply while making future maintenance and isolation much simpler.

A recent project where we modernised the entire hot water and heating system.

We removed the old cold water storage tank and feed & expansion tank from the loft, relocated the hot water cylinder into the loft space, and converted the system to a fully sealed heating system with a new sealed system kit and unvented hot water cylinder.

🚨 Gas Leak Found & Repaired 🚨

We were recently called out after a customer could smell gas inside their property. The National Gas Emergency Service attended first and isolated the supply to make the installation safe.

The customer then contacted Surrey Heat Co. to trace and repair the leak. After carrying out the relevant gas safety checks and leak detection procedures, we identified the fault as a leaking cooker bayonet fitting. The faulty fitting was removed and capped off, the installation was retested, and the gas supply was safely reinstated.

If you have an old cooker bayonet fitting that is no longer in use, it may be worth considering having it capped off, especially if it has been in place for many years.

Gas leaks should never be ignored. If you can smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999.
