This is a bespoke garden room we built in Surrey. Cedar cladding, recessed lighting under the soffit, a considered wall light, and a garden that's been designed to work with it rather than around it. Every detail was the customer's choice.

Isleworth locals, you might recognise this one 👀

Bridge Dental needed a treatment room for their chiropractor. The only available space was a courtyard with no right angles, every wall a different length, every panel built to a shape that doesn't exist in any standard build.

This garden room in Isleworth was built for a chiropractor working inside a dental practice, and it had to fit perfectly into an awkward courtyard where every wall runs at a different angle.

One of the questions we get asked on almost every site visit, usually in a slightly hushed tone, as if it might be a trick question.

"Can we actually sleep in it?"

The honest answer is yes, you can. But there's a line between occasional use and something that triggers planning permission, and it's not always obvious where that line sits.

A guest staying over? Fine. The kids wanting to camp out in the garden? Fine. Using it as a permanent bedroom with nothing else going on in the room? That's where it gets more complicated.
