Test completed tonight to get power back on at this property following a disconnection due to previous tenants rewiring for a grow room.

Landlords remember all rented properties need testing every 5 years OR upon change of occupancy by law now and not just as a recommendation. Here is a perfect example why a retest is required when tenancy changes you never know what they have done without your permission.

Homeowners it is also recommended that you have your homes tested every 10 years why should your safety be put at risk just because you are not required by law?

Cold weather reminder.

Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension leads.

Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet.

Powers strips are not designed to handle the high current flow required by a space heater and can overheat causing a fire.

This is what's left of the socket that an extension lead powering a space heater was plugged into.
