I uncovered some lovely family history whilst working on a property this week. The existing wallpaper was to be removed before new wallpapers installed. It was so nice to uncover my Dadcu’s (grandfathers) signature and date on the wall 🥰, it’s says J Middleton, Decorator, Taliesin, 1958. This was 68 years ago, when he was just 27 😳! This is a tradition that decorators leave a name,date etc, so I’ve included my name under his! Quite ironic as it’s exactly 11 years today that we lost him 😢, I hope he’s looking down and proud that I’m continuing in his footsteps ❤️
