After a 4 year gap in my Metalworking career I have finally been given the opportunity to have a space for a short term lease. This is the inspiration I've needed for a long time now to restart my career as a restoration Metalsmith and Coppersmith however this time im doing it in Cornwall, where it all began with my ABC Art & Design and my BA (hons) in Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University

Due to my workshop being in storage and repeatedly moved from county to county means that a few of my essential tools kit and equipment have stopped working or gone missing, have become very rusty and batteries have died. I want to be able to hit the ground running however the initial start up costs are far more than I am able to fund myself.

If you could take the time to share this post or help me with restarting my dreams of being a full time Metalworker it would mean everything to me to give this one final chance of making it all come true.

Thank you for all the amazing support I have had so far. It really has meant alot to me to see such an incredible support network I have around me.

Oh my days... soo here we go! With my amazing news!!💃🔥💃🔥Ive been given the amazing opportunity to rent a workshop on a short term basis. Its all happened very quickly but im due to move in on the 1st of October. YAY FINALLY!!!

Im finally feeling inspired after a 5 year low and struggle with being able to create. Due to multiple reasons

This time around I want to hit the ground running! However since all my tools, kit and equipment have been moved from county to county, spaces to storage a few fundamental tools and equipment have stopped working, have gone missing or I've lent out but cannot remember where they've gone and at the present im not able to start creating immediately.

So this is a small ask if anyone is able to help contribute to the cost of restarting and moving into a new space as a restoration Metalsmith in Cornwall in an endangered craft of coppersmithing it would be greatly appreciated.

Looking back to where it all began with my original final pieces from my degree show where I studied and graduated in 2011 the now deceased course of . This course gave me the foundation for the creativity i needed to flourish as a .

Where have you been i hear you say?
During and after the turmoil of covıd I had to move workshops and my caravanhome repeatedly and not making enough money to support my heritagecraft i had no choice but go back into fulltimeemplyment. I have also moved back to Redruth Cornwal,UK.
After a few years of developing my material practise and most importantly feeling mentally well enough I am now able to be self employed again!!!. I have restarted my gardening business focusing of native species and herlbalism as a temporaryfinancal support. However i am DESPERATE to get back into my own Metalworking. to do this i am taking baby steps forward to secure enough finances to have the time to be creative and do what I want to do. I have fire in my belly but no money. But with manifestation and hard work i will 100% get to where I once was and where I want to be with the new me. WATCH THIS SPACE 👀👀👀

HELP ME FIND A WORKSHOP IN WEST CORNWALL

!!!Everyone needs to do a bit of hiding from time to time so they can heal and rebuild themselves. Thanks to the amazing bunch I have found down here in and taking time off from my making, I've been able to do a bit of magic to myself. Now all is left is the 2year mission (sofar) of trying to find a new workshop in I am open to all suggestions as I'm in desperate need of getting back to my own world of being a

Where have I been?? I hear you say...
well, iv been taking some time out due to the fact that I moved back to . where I have been trying to find a workshop. However, nearly two 2 years later, I still have had no luck. 😩
If anyone knows of any workshop availability betwix Falmouth and Landsend Cornwall , my only request is it must be dry and have electric and access to a toilet. I do use a propane torch and a welder.

I'm desperate to be back at my bench and will do anything to be reunited with my tools in a new space.

I am open to all recommendations
