🏆Recognising Future Talent – The Gerald Davies Future Generations Award 🏆

As part of our ongoing commitment to learning and development, we were proud to celebrate this year’s recipients of the Gerald Davies Future Generations Award — an award with deep significance for our business.

Gerald Davies CEng CEnv MICE, our Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance, sadly passed away in 2019. Gerald dedicated 25 years to Griffiths, playing a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining our BSI Quality and Environmental accreditations, and securing our Principal Contractors Licence - a milestone that enabled our entry into the rail sector.

In his memory, the Senior Leadership Team created the annual Gerald Davies Future Generations Award, recognising colleagues early in their careers who have shown exceptional progression, commitment and development over the past 12 months. It reflects Gerald’s belief in nurturing talent and investing in the next generation of engineers and professionals.

This year, we are delighted to congratulate:
🔹Ross Vaughan – Winner of the Gerald Davies Future Generations Award
🔹Michael Hewitt – Runner‑Up

Both have demonstrated outstanding growth, professionalism and dedication, a true reflection of the values Gerald championed.
