For this urgent job, our team headed to the client, out-of-hours, for an initial inspection and to report findings.

Within 36 hours we had removed the potential dropped objects identified, undertaken remedial work and carried out a thorough examination of the associated lifting equipment, making the unit safe to head offshore without further delay.

𝗔 𝘀𝗲𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗼, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗼-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗤 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗻.

This formed part of a major, ongoing £2m investment programme, which includes the creation of upwards of 20 new positions in the company, including several management roles.

Those joining us during this period included 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧 - Ross Davidson , 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧, Marc Currie - and 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 – Samantha Rose.

Our permanent move to Aberdeen has been a strategic one, underlining our commitment to our North Sea clients, whilst facilitating our on-going international development.

📆 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭

This was a pivotal time for Enerpro, as we continued to grow with the appointment of Engineering, Scaffolding and Technical Managers, establish our initial HQ in Thurso, open satellite bases in Dundee and Aberdeen and… faced the challenge of a global pandemic.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙬𝙣.

Despite having scores of contractors operating across the UKCS, “business as usual” was maintained within the restrictions in place.

Our well-established lines of communication and a focus on contractor and staff welfare ensured we rode out the COVID storm, emerging stronger than ever and with plans to develop the business further - as well as winning our largest contract to date at the time.
