A complete garden revamp designed to create a modern, low-maintenance outdoor space without compromising on planting or character.

We installed Lucido porcelain from CMDstone to create clean, contemporary patios and steps, alongside a pergola to provide a stylish all-weather seating area.

Raised sleeper planters were built to retain the levels while creating generous planting beds, finished with Tuda Grass artificial lawn for a year-round green finish.

Low maintenance doesn’t have to mean no plants. Thoughtful planting adds colour, movement and texture throughout the seasons while remaining easy to look after.

What a weekend at the North of Scotland Garden Show.

We’ve really enjoyed being part of it and having the opportunity to showcase our work alongside so many talented people in the industry.

A massive thank you to Julie Ann Henderson for all the hard work that goes into organising and creating an event like this. It’s great to have a platform like this in the North East of Scotland.

It would be brilliant to see the show continue to grow over the coming years, with more landscapers, designers, growers and suppliers getting involved.

There is so much talent across Scotland and it would be great to see more of it showcased.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and everyone who stopped by our Urban Woodland Retreat garden.

Gold Award Winner — North Scotland Garden Show

Introducing The Urban Woodland Retreat

We’re extremely proud to share that our first show garden has been awarded Gold at the North Scotland Garden Show.

The concept behind the garden was to create a calm retreat from everyday life — combining natural materials, woodland-inspired planting, the sound of water, and modern outdoor living.

The garden features:
• Natural stone supplied by CMDstone
• A bespoke Millboard seating area
• A custom-built water feature inspired by the River Dee
• Layered woodland planting designed for texture, movement and wildlife
• Subtle lighting to create an evening retreat

A special mention to Jonathan at Crazysheep Designs, who continuously works behind the scenes supporting Hazlewood, helping us develop our ideas and grow as a business. A real gem and someone we’re very grateful to have alongside us.

A little update from us at Hazlewood Gardening

Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who has messaged, shared our work, recommended us, or booked in with us recently. The support has honestly been incredible.

We are currently extremely busy with several massive landscaping projects on the go, including work away from Aberdeen over the next few weeks.

Because of this, replies may be slightly slower than normal, so thank you for bearing with us while we try to keep on top of everything with a small team.

We are also aware that some replies sent through our website have been going into spam/junk folders recently, both on our side and clients’ side too, so please keep an eye on your junk folder just in case you are waiting on a reply from us.

We are now fully booked for larger landscaping projects through the rest of 2026 and into the start of 2027, which is something we genuinely never thought we would be saying when we started Hazlewood Gardening.

If you are happy to wait for us, we would still love to hear about your project and can keep in touch for future availability.
