🚧 LINE MARKING – MONTROSE 🚧

Another recent line marking job completed in Montrose by SMM Aberdeen Ltd.

On this project, we marked out and installed a new disabled parking bay, incorporating 1.2m hatched access markings to meet British Standards, alongside four additional parking spaces.

Another quality project completed in Oldmeldrum! 👌

We have recently completed this large granite patio for a customer in Oldmeldrum, using premium dark grey granite paving slabs in a mixed-size pattern, imported from Vietnam.

Quality materials deserve quality workmanship, and particular care was taken throughout the installation to ensure a long-lasting, professional finish.

🔹 Every slab was laid on a full-contact mortar bed, with an approved slurry primer applied to the back of each individual slab to ensure a strong bond.

🔹 Pointing completed using VDW 815 two-part epoxy paving mortar in Stone Grey, providing a durable, hard-wearing and attractive finish.

🔹 The entire patio was installed with a 1:60 fall to ensure effective surface water drainage.

🔹 Granite edging blocks were installed with the customer's future tarmac driveway in mind, allowing the finished tarmac to meet flush with the top of the granite, concealing the concrete haunching for a clean, seamless finish.

🔹 We also installed a raised sleeper planting bed, finished with screened topsoil, ready for the customer to add their chosen plants.

Another project completed using quality materials, proper installation methods and attention to detail throughout.

🚧 Driveway transformation completed this morning 🚧

Another driveway finished by SMM ABERDEEN LTD.

For this job, we removed the existing driveway and widened the area to create space for an additional vehicle, as well as improving the drainage before laying the new tarmac.

We always put a lot of attention into the drainage side of our driveways. No cheap plastic channels here — where drainage is required, we use heavy-duty cast iron gratings that can handle vehicles driving over it and is built to last.

A good solid base, proper drainage and a hard-wearing tarmac finish — done properly from the ground up.

Another job complete. 👍
