🔨 Recent Roofing Project Completed – Hilton, Aberdeen
A few before and after photos from a recent project completed by Murray Roofing Services Ltd in Hilton.
This project involved extensive leadwork upgrades, replacing the existing cement finishes with traditional leadwork throughout.
Works carried out included:
✅ Removal of existing cement hips and ridges, replaced with new lead hips, ridge rolls and mop rolls.
✅ Removal of cement skews around the chimney areas, replaced with new leadwork.
✅ Lead side slips replaced at dormer and relating of the cheeks
✅ Removal and refurbishment of the chimney tops, finished in lead with new lead cowls.
✅ Bespoke lead castings incorporated into the finished work.
One of the nicest things about this project was working with a client who knew exactly what she wanted from the very beginning. She had a clear vision for the finer details, which made it a really enjoyable job to be involved in.
With such a beautiful garden surrounding the property, nature was very much the inspiration behind some of the bespoke lead castings, adding a personal touch to the finished roof.
It’s always a pleasure working on projects where traditional craftsmanship and a client’s own ideas come together.
A lovely project to be part of, and one we’re pleased to have completed.
