We're delighted to introduce the newest member of the Brennan Architectural Design team, Eliza Lewis!
Eliza joins BAD as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, having studied architecture at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol).
As our practice continues to grow, we're passionate about supporting emerging talent and giving the next generation of designers opportunities to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in the industry.
We asked Eliza a few questions to get to know her a little better! 👇
🎨 Where did her passion for architecture begin?
Believe it or not, it started partly with Minecraft and The Sims!
Having always been artistic and creative, Eliza developed an early interest in how buildings shape the way we live and experience spaces. What began with designing virtual buildings has developed into a career pursuing her childhood dream.
📐 What is she looking forward to at BAD?
Eliza is excited to gain hands-on experience, develop her technical and design skills, and understand how architectural ideas become real projects, balancing creativity with client requirements, budgets and site constraints.
🏡 What's her dream project?
Designing and building her own home from scratch! A space that reflects her personality, creativity and everything that makes a house feel like home.
🎸 What about life outside architecture?
When she's not working on designs, you'll probably find Eliza at the gym, heading off on spontaneous adventures with friends, or learning her favourite songs on the piano or guitar.
🎵 And a fun fact?
She's a massive Daft Punk and Julian Casablancas fan! Apparently, you could play just about any Daft Punk song and she'd recognise it. Her favourite? Touch.
It's fantastic to have Eliza joining us at such an exciting time for the business.
We're looking forward to helping her develop her skills, build her confidence and gain experience across a wide variety of architectural projects.
Welcome to the BAD team, Eliza! 💛🏗️
