Come to La Mude and visit the Gorge du Verdon

There are so many ways to experience the Gorges du Verdon, and each offers a completely different perspective. From the rim roads, you can look down into the vast limestone canyon, with the turquoise river winding far below. At water level, you can paddle between the cliffs, swim in Lac de Sainte-Croix, or explore some of the spectacular hiking trails that crisscross the area.

It's one of Provence's most extraordinary natural landscapes, and I'd recommend setting aside enough time to discover it properly.

Highly recommend this lovely place if you want somewhere to break up the journey back from La Mude. The quietest place I have ever been, bursting with charm and the most amazing homemade Jams for breakfast. 2.5hrs from Calais on the outskirts of Reims. We didn’t know, but you can book dinner in advance as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
