The atelier, my paintings, and a new series slowly taking shape.
Artemis is still revealing herself to me. These paintings have grown out of my ongoing exploration of gesture, colour and the relationship between the visible world and something more instinctive.
Having the new works together in the atelier has made me see them differently. They begin to speak to one another — sometimes quietly, sometimes with a little more force.
I’m looking forward to sharing more of this series as it unfolds.
These beautiful photographs were made during an afternoon spent together in the atelier with Kateryna Nazarenko | Watercolor Seascapes Artist Thank you for your talent & generous eye and for capturing both the paintings and the atmosphere of this place so beautifully.
