Grâce Pégéron Artist Painting what the eye can't see but the heart already knows.

Believe it or not... My artistic career started the "traditional" way, with figurative art! But I wasn't happy with my work: I felt it lacked depth and could be done by anyone - with a little practice 😉. And then... life and its challenges. In the midst of these difficulties, a meeting with an energy therapist illuminated the path to reconciliation with Myself. Drawing called me again, and I answe

red. I don't know how I came up with the idea, but my first work was a self-portrait drawn with my eyes closed, guided by my feelings. What a revelation! My painting described my wounds with disturbing acuity, prompting me to delve deeper into their healing. Over time, I extended this approach to friends, discovering hidden wounds that sought to be recognized and treated. Today, I still draw portraits of people both known and unknown, and they continue to reveal what needs to be revealed. My work touches people with its uniqueness; they feel a connection and nurture the desire to go deeper into self-discovery. Recently, the integration of abstract art has enriched my practice. These new creations are an extension of my quest for inner harmony, while continuing to offer subtle, universal messages of unity. They convey the same benevolent values as my portraits, but in a different, complementary way. Just as the ruptures in our lives do, the revelations of sacred geometric forms open pathways to transformation, offer a deeper understanding of the world, and invite us to feel the invisible link that connects us all - my message all along.
