This seemed a little bit like Mission Impossible at first but I pulled it trough in the end 😁. The house was built in 1920 but unfortunately the interior was totally destoyed in a fire a couple of years ago. Everything has been reconstructed and renovated. My mission was to recontsruct the two overdoor paintings that also where destroyed. I only had some old, not so good, photographs to go by so the motif is original but the coulors and details are by my own hand.
A huge Thanks to my customers who gave me free hands with this project and tended so well to me! ❤️
I am also happy about the new paint shop in my area Billnäs maalikauppa • Billnäs färgbutik where I found the perfect color "Kuiskausten Lukusali" for the base! The decorations are painted i eggoil tempera. Wallpaper "Verso" from Tapettitehdas Pihlgren ja Ritola Oy.

Nyt on hyvä aika tilata käsinmaalatut rullaverhot ensi keväälle ja kesälle!
Suunnittelen ja maalaan käsin sisustukseesi sopivat rullaverhot mittatilaustyönä. Verhot voivat olla pimennysverhot tai kuultavat, modernilla rullamekanismilla jolloin verho rullautuu ylhäältä alas tai perinteisellä nyörisysteemillä alhaalta ylös.
Valmistan maalin itse maapigmenteistä jolloin se ei haalistu.

Mitt bidrag till årets Konstgatan i Ekenäs ser ni här. Under hela augusti månad ställer medlemmar av Ekenäs Konstförening ut i skyltfönstren längs gågatan. Årets tema är Barndomsminnen. Guldbaggen finns i fönstret på Sagoland Antiques och är till salu.

Pitää vain vähän käydä työhuoneella aloittamassa rästitöitä. Siellä hurahti sitten koko päivä 😄. Mm aloitin tämän 1930-luvulta olevan Väinö Aaltosen reliefin "Keinu" pintakorjauksen.

Some before and afters.
A very long and big project is soon coming to an end. My share (that started in December - 25) has been the surfaces, colouring and paintjobs. The guys made everything else! This is a high quality job! Everything is handmade and some reused, even the paints were made by me on site. When you see the final result it is hard to imagine how many working hours goes into a project like this! I still have some decorativepainting to do but first I need a vacation and some time to empty my head and then recalibrate my brain for the task ahead. Follow for more pictures later.

At Fagervik church celebrating the 300th birthday of the organ, which is the oldest playable one in Finland. 😍

In four weeks time me and my "sisters" in
JAMM - Quartet will sing in the very same church. 🤗
